Apex Concrete Cutting specializes in wall sawing utilizing circular blades to make vertical or horizontal cuts in concrete or masonry walls. Wall sawing is typically used to cut doorways, windows and HVAC openings. This method of cutting can be used for up to 24″ thick walls or floors, or up to 48″ when both sides are accessible.
Apex can core drill from 1/2″ to 36″ diameter holes to any depth. Typical applications include HVAC openings, plumbing lines, floor drains, anchor holes and electrical and fiber optic runs. Line drilling or coring a series of overlapping holes is another way to produce openings to any size and depth when other methods can’t be used.
Apex Concrete Slab or Flat cutting is accomplished with a diamond blade mounted on a three phase electric powered saw to cut perfectly straight in concrete slabs, floors, and asphalt. Commonly used in trenches for installation of new plumbing, french drains, revamping old driveways and complete slab removals.
Apex utilizes handheld concrete cutting equipment to cut small hard to access areas. We have handsaws capable of cutting ten inches in depth and diamond impregnated chains fitted onto chainsaws capable of cutting two feet deep. We also carry different types of jackhammers for your concrete demolition needs.
